Is plastic surgery expensive? Some minor procedures may cost a few hundred dollars, where the more involved procedures cost several thousand dollars. When you are seen in consultation, you are given a written quote that includes the surgical fee, operating fee, anesthesia fee, and any implant/garment fees. Do I really go home after my surgery? All of the plastic surgery procedures we do are done on an outpatient basis. You will stay in the recovery area for approximately one to two hours after surgery and then go home. You may rest at home for a few hours, then you will be up and about. We see you in the office for your post-operative visits. When do I pay for my surgery? Do you take credit cards? A deposit to cover the operating room fee is required to reserve your surgical date. One to two weeks prior to your plastic surgery you will come in for a pre-operative visit. The remainder of your fee is due at that ime. We accept cash, check, credit cards, and offer plastic surgery financing plans for your convenience. Will I be given pain medicine? There usually is some discomfort post-operatively, but it is easily managed with tylenol and other non-narcotic pain medication. Stronger pain medication is provided, if you should need it. |
